Mushroom Substrate Kit Large | Sterile Substrate for mushroom cultivation

You can think of the sterilized mushroom substrate as soil for a plant. We need to inoculate this sterilized substrate with our liquid cultures derived from spores.

The mushroom substrate kit contains

• The container holds a 1200 cc/ml sterile substrate mix.
• Liquid Culture: 10 mL
• Injection port
• Fruiting Bag with Filter

Substrate Contains:

The substrate is sterilized and has a moisture content of 60–65%. The mixture consists of whole oats, vermiculite, perlite, and Gypsum.

Storage

Always store your substrate kit in a clean refrigerator! We recommend using the substrate kit as soon as possible. You can refrigerate the kit for up to 6 weeks.

How to use a Mushroom Substrate Kit: Instructions

Phase 1: Prepare the Liquid Culture

Wash your hands and clean the working area!

1. To ensure all spores are floating, shake the vial or syringe well.
2. Disinfect the injection site of the liquid culture and the spore vial or syringe with the alcohol swap.
3. Inject 2 ml of spore solution into the liquid culture.

Shake the inoculated liquid culture vigorously once a day every day for 10 days. Store the inoculated liquid culture in a place between 23 and 27 degrees Celsius. The liquid culture is ready when you see a cloud floating in the suspension. This is mycelium.

Your liquid culture, also known as the master culture, is ready. With proper use and storage, you can produce a large amount of mycelium from a small amount of spores.

Important!

• Any murky liquid indicates contamination and makes the culture unusable.
• Wenn Sie die Flüssigkultur 10 Tage lang nicht verwenden, lagern Sie sie im Kühlschrank.

Phase 2: Impfung

Schritt 1

• Waschen Sie Ihre Hände und reinigen Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich.
• Die Injektionsstelle des sterilisierten Substrats und der Flüssigkultur sollte sauber sein.

Schritt 2

• 10 ml (1200 CC-Kit) oder 10 ml (2100 CC) aus der Flüssigkultur entnehmen.

• Injizieren Sie die Sporensuspension durch die Injektionsstelle des Kits.

Schritt 3

• Drehen und schütteln Sie die Box nach der Impfung um 360 Grad in alle Richtungen.
• Lagern Sie das Kit an einem dunklen Ort bei einer Temperatur zwischen 23 °C und 27 °C.

Ergebnis:

Nach der Inokulation werden Sie sehen, wie sich Myzel bildet. Ein weißer Pilz wird nach und nach das sterilisierte Substrat füllen. Dies kann je nach Temperatur bis zu 2-3 Wochen dauern.

Phase 3: Fruchtbildung und Sporensammlung

Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Anbau von Fruchtpilzen in Ihrem Land illegal sein kann. Überprüfen Sie immer Ihre örtlichen Gesetze, bevor Sie mit dieser Phase beginnen.

Sobald Sie das Substrat vollständig besiedelt haben, ist es an der Zeit, mit der Ernte der Früchte zu beginnen, um Pilzsporen oder -gewebe für die weitere Forschung oder Kultivierung zu sammeln.
